I AM — The first volume of the Existentia series.

You exist for a reason.

You have probably always known this — not as a thought but as a feeling you couldn't quite locate. A longing without a clear object. A sense that you are participating in something larger than anything you've been able to name.

I AM is about why that feeling is accurate.

We exist in a world that is actively contested — by the God who created us and by a darkness that has opposed that creation from the beginning. Most of us were never given a framework that takes both seriously at once. We were handed either faith without rigor or reason without reverence, and neither one was enough.

Drawing from fifteen years of serious inquiry across theology, physics, and ancient literature, I AM returns to the oldest texts and asks what they actually say — without institutional agenda, without inherited assumption. What emerges is a picture of human identity more radical, more ancient, and more immediately relevant than anything most traditions have been willing to tell you.

The contest is real. The choice is yours. This book provides what you need to make it.

Founder & Author — Dave Atkinson

Dave Atkinson is a Christian author, founder of the Existentia Institute, and a man who has lived both ends of the spectrum — achievement and rock bottom — and writes from every inch of that ground.

His passion, above all else, is God. Dave is at home in every Christian tradition. He believes in the body of Christ: that denominations are less like divisions and more like distinct functions. We each find our place, and Christ is at the head of all of it.

Dave has been an athlete his entire life — weights at twelve, college sports, and still training today. When he's not in the gym, he's in the mountains: off-roading, mountain biking, fly fishing, or hiking — where he feels closest to God.

His career in sales and operations earned multiple national recognitions. In July 2026, he founded the Existentia Institute to share what God had made undeniable: science, physics, and God are not competing arguments — they are the same one.

Dave loves life. He lifts. He prays. He writes.

The Möbius Strip — A Symbol of Existence — Eternity and The Flip

A Möbius strip is a surface with only one side and one edge. Take a strip of paper, give it a single half-twist, and join the ends — what appears to be two sides becomes one continuous, uninterrupted surface. There is no inside or outside. No beginning or end. Just one eternal, unified whole.

This is the geometry of eternity.

In linear human thinking, existence has two sides — the physical and the spiritual, the temporal and the eternal, the seen and the unseen. We experience them as separate. But the Möbius strip reveals what I AM argues: they were never two things. They are one continuous reality moving through a twist we call time.

The Flip is the moment of transition — the half-twist in the strip — where what appeared to be one side becomes the other. Death and resurrection. The temporal becoming eternal. The creature recognizing its origin in the Creator. You travel the same surface you have always been on, and suddenly you realize you have crossed over — not because you moved to a new place, but because you finally see the continuity that was always there.

The Möbius strip doesn't resolve the mystery of eternity. It illustrates it — one surface, one edge, one story, forever unfolding.
